Ok so...

He can shoot a pistol, assault rifle and pretty much anything in between with great accuracy AND kick your ass with his bare hands...

Kinda OP'd...

I'm withholding my approval for now.

How is that OP'd? He mainly uses pistols due to detective work and all he has is a C-50 and a small vest of anti-kinetic/laser armor. He knows his way around a rifle because of his mainstream training, and he knows hand to hand because of training his mother's friend gave to him early on in his life, which was accelerated in his training and experience as a detective.

Where does it say he can handle a sniper, rocket launcher, machinegun, and SMG inbetween with great accuracy?

If it makes you happy I'll lower the assault rifle skills to like 6, I guess.

It looks slightly OP'd to me, even now.

He has five 'skills', three of which are 8 or above, the other two are six. They are relatively important skills.

But I trust your RP skills so I guess I could give it an approval from me.

Pistols 9/10 - Pistols are easy to handle..

Strength 8/10. - Tuff, natural body muscle

Hand to hand 8/10. - Took a few martial arts classes...

Assault Rifles 6/10 - Anyone can know their way around a basic firearm

Agility - 6/10. - Typical.

Not overpowered.

I loved the music, just plain loved it. Other than that, I don't see things being wrong with the character. For what it's worth, I think this is the first Blitz' character that I don't second-guess.

He must have been training since he was a sperm to get that good with weapons at the age of 26, seriously, kind of op'd. The Strength and agility scores at least make a bit of sense since he is 6'7", But being that big also might get in the way of being so damn good with weapons, and even though he's a big dude, that doesn't mean he's bruce li with a hand to hand of 8/10.

A:it's spelled Bruce Lee
B:Have you seen the police in hand to hand combat? They freaking take you down!

Also, he had a Hanzenn teach him from a young age, it all makes sense when you look at it closely.

As much as I trust Blitz not to fly off the handle...

This is a detective, not a marine. Most detectives are able to handle a gun or decently protect themselves CQC. Even if one was trained to handle weaponry like a semi-automatic rifle, when time goes by, they lose that skill if left unused or unsharpened. You can't just go "I once took a few courses at a gun range, therefor, I am a pro gun expert for life."

Looking at his picture, he looks like a burly man which a large physic, so strength makes sense. But this also means he wont be as agile and flexible as a ballerina...

My accept doesn't make much of a difference but still...

True enough, though. His skills with pistols and CQC does make sense, but not sure about them being nearly mastered, and his skill with assault rifles being above average. Also, is he bodybuilder? The 8/10 strength made me wonder that. Other than the stats, I can't think of anything to complain, for now.

Isn't 3/10 the generally accepted strength stat for an average human male in most roleplaying circles?
8/10 would make him monstrously strong.

Another thing. Post corrected at the request of Phry

Detectives are more brains than brawn. They usually interrogate people to solve crimes. Him having learned anything more than what you'd usually learn in a shooting range is unlikely.

I don't usually do stats in comparative to other races or else it would get confusing.

I've been at a shooting range since I was like 14 and I'm a pretty good shot with my 1911, even though my retired drill sergeant father taught me to shoot. Learning to handle pistols isn't that hard.

I know detectives solve stuff, but I'm not going to list every single thing he's learned while being one, it's assumed.

1) That's just one particular pistol. Learning and mastering all pistols would take a much, much longer time.
2) Not to demean your marksmanship, as I have little myself, but I don't think you'd be quite as proficient in combat against moving targets. That's a skill that takes even longer to master.

I would be fine with this if he was a bit more specialized, or a lot older. Being older would compromise his physical strength, anyway.

There's a 70 year old at my Kung Fu class who burst a sparring bag (it was relatively new, too) with a kick a few months back. Just 'cause someone's old doesn't mean they're weaker.

That doesn't happen to most people, most old people at that age wouldn't be able to lift their leg to the bottom of the bag without toppling and dying.

Too true though, When I work, I have to spend a lot of time coddling old people, one of them took up about 30 straight minutes just trying to tell me to wait outside while she goes into Ace hardware, and I kept trying to say I can't do that, because I was on the clock. Then she decided to tell me to wait at the sore with her stuff while she does that, and I say I can't do that either, so she tells me not to go to her car (which is about 20 feet away) while she pulls over, and gets in the way of about 5 other people while I put her things into her car.

Seriously, the aging process blows.

Yes I agree that a lot of people have the worse end of aging, but my 86 year old Grandad (May he rest in peace) had full mental faculties and a sharper mind than most until the last few years, and even then, he knew what was happening to him, the fact is that there are always exceptions to the norm, as all of our characters are, damnit, we almost had a 3" woman called Hazel Dadoni (By the way, I now realise it could have worked, just look at Ulranna), we have a general of an entire legion, and we have countless criminals and vigilantes, you can't say anybody we roleplay is mr or mrs Average can you?

(Plus this is the future, who's to say the average human life expectancy hasn't risen to 200?)

Hey, a dude died at 122, and that was 1875 – 1997, not exactly the best of times, going through both world wars, the Cold War AND the Gulf War (I think France fought in that anyway)
