Talibar with 1000 legions, millions of troops, + the vita

How did they not stop occitan?

Also, what proportions are the map of Olden? Because they must be gigantic.

Also never said we should have won, was just wondering what the impact of our sacrifice was, it being all hyped up as we were supposedly the last line of major defense.

Talibar was weakened by the Shar plot. An entire city was wiped off the map.

Their capital city, no less. Their very center of command. This was exactly the effect Shar's army hoped to achieve.

Surna it's self only had a garrison of...What was it...I think it was 10 500 militia, 1000 guards and 250 or so combat ready magic users versus I think it was around 43 000 Occitanian legionaries+reanimated corpses+demons. It didn't actually have any professional Legion troops, those were en route from various different parts of the empire.

Makes sense I guess

but 1000 legions + vita, pre-shar is ridiculous

and occitan having 100 legions is also ridiculous

Not even Rome had anywhere near that many soldiers in an area the size of occitan or talibar

The great commanders of that time, the mark Antonies, Pompeis and Caesars would often despair at the loss of one or two of their legions, because there are a lot of people in a legion

It'd be easy for olden demographics to be more like the modern world, as compared to the ancient world when there was a LOT less people.

I think Munroe put forth some incorrect information; the armies aren't measured in 'Legions', and nowhere was it established that there were a 100 legions or a thousand talibarian legiona
